CSIC carries out research in all fields of knowledge (global areas of Life, Society and Materia), producing 20% of the national scientific output (more than 10,000 publications in high impact international journals and 200 patent applications in 2017). Within CLINT, CSIC will lead work on attribution and future changes in EE, which includes the delivery of a demo climate service. CSIC will also contribute to EE detection and causation.
